Ingredients

Ingredients for Chocolate Molds

  • 100 g Red Molding Wafers
  • 100 g Pink Molding Wafers

Ingredients for Chocolate Ganache Filling

  • 100 g Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chopped
  • 90 g Heavy Cream
  • Any kind of Chocolate chopped
  • Nutella and tossed Hazelnuts chopped
  • Oreos chopped
  • Peanut Caramel Clusters chopped

Instructions

  • Heat the Molding Wafers on simmering water. It should not be boiling as chocolate needs to melt slowly. Once it's melty, stir until its smooth and put it in a Ziploc bag. The working temperature of the molded chocolate is around 30-35 C degree. Reheat if the temp. goes down.
  • Pour the red color chocolate in the mold on one side and pink on the other side to create a marbled look, Spread the chocolate with a brush to coat the mold evenly. Tap the filled molds on the counter to knock out the air bubbles.
  • Drip out the chocolate asap, don't let it sit to get stiff in the molds. A thick coating should remain in molds at the end. Set in the fridge for 10 minutes to set.

Fill the Molds

  • Heat the heavy cream until it's just about to boil. Pour it over the chopped semi-sweet or dark chocolate and let it sit for 2 minutes. Stir the mixture until smooth. Sit at room temperature for 10 minutes or until its not too hot to melt the molds.
  • Chop the chocolate, Oreo Biscuits, Peanut caramel clusters and heat some Nutella. Fill in each mold with your favorite toppings leaving some space top of the mold. Let sit for 5 minutes in fridge before pouring the melted molding wafers and sealing the truffles. Scrape of the excess for a smooth finish.
  • Chill the truffles in Fridge for 30 minutes to 2 hours before wrapping them in some gold wrapper. Pack them in a pretty box and decorate the thoughtful handmade gift for your loved one.
